The name DEVO\u201958 stand for \u2018Founded by Some Friends\u2019, or \u2018Door Enige Vrienden Opgericht\u2019 in Dutch, in 1958. One of the smallest clubs still remaining independent in Amsterdam, it\u2019s a club of great warmth and a friendly atmosphere. At DEVO\u201958 we have an open and engaging club culture, consisting of men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams with mostly former students and expats.<\/p>\n
DEVO\u201958 represent seniors football on all levels. We do not have youth members, so all of the clubs resources are dedicated to the senior members, and the board values its amateur teams as highly as it does the first team.<\/p>\n
We play on real grass, have brand new locker rooms and there is free parking available. Our contribution is a modest \u20ac250 (outdoor)\/\u20ac1600(futsal per team) per year, beers are \u20ac2,20.<\/p>\n
DEVO\u201958 offers a good atmosphere, fun, sports and plenty of parties, such as the yearly \u2018Windmill Cup\u2019 tournament and the ever festive \u2018New Years reception\u2019.<\/p>\n
